A total of 572 vacancies are announced across RBI offices such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur & Lucknow, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, and others, including reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories.
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT
- Candidate must be an undergraduate as on 01-01-2026
- Graduates and candidates with higher qualifications are NOT eligible
Special Cases
- Ex-Servicemen: 10th pass with at least 15 years of defence service, provided they have not graduated outside the Armed Forces

- General English: 30 questions – 30 marks

- Total: 120 questions, 120 marks, 90 minutes
- Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer
2. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
- Qualifying in nature
- Conducted in the local/official language of the state applied for
- Failure to qualify LPT will lead to disqualification
