Eligibility Criteria
Forester:
- Passed +2 Science from recognized board/university.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Age: 18–32 years as on 01-01-2025.
Forest Guard:
- Passed 10th / High School Certificate.
- Age: 18–32 years as on 01-01-2025.
Excise Constable:
- Passed +2 or equivalent from recognized board/council.
- Age: 21–32 years as on 01-01-2025.
Language Requirement:
- Must read, write, and speak Odia.
Other Conditions:
- Indian citizen, good character, single spouse if married (as per law).
- Sportspersons, PwDs, and Ex-Servicemen must provide valid certificates.
- Specific medical/physical standards for Excise Constable and physical tests for Forester & Forest Guard apply.

Age Relaxation

Selection Process
- Written Test – MCQ-based, 100 marks, 1½ hours
- Subjects: Maths, General Studies, English, Odia, Computer
- Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer
- Minimum qualifying marks: 35% (General), 30% (Reserved)
- Physical Test (PSM & PET)
- Forester / Forest Guard: Walking tests, height & chest measurement
- Excise Constable: Running, long jump, height & chest measurement
- Failure in any physical test leads to disqualification
