Eligibility Criteria
Public Health Worker (PHW)
- 12th Pass with:
- Government-recognized Sanitary Inspector Course, or
- Government-recognized Multi Purpose Health Worker (MPHW) Course
- Computer Basic Course is mandatory
- For previous VMC Health Department field workers:
- 10th Pass with the above courses is acceptable
- Preference will be given to:
- Candidates with health-related work experience
- Residents of Vadodara city
Field Worker (FW)
- Minimum 8th Pass
- Must know cycling
- Preference to:
- Candidates with health sector experience
- Candidates residing in Vadodara city
Age Limit (as on Advertisement Date)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Age Relaxation:
- Up to 59 years for candidates who previously worked in VMC Health Department field duty
- Current VMC Health Department field workers above 45 years are also eligible

Selection Process

- Category-wise merit list will be prepared
- Marking system (Total 150 Marks):
- Educational qualification – up to 60 marks
- Sanitary Inspector / MPHW course – up to 10 marks
- Computer course – up to 5 marks
- Vadodara local residence – up to 5 marks
- General experience – up to 20 marks
- Health sector & VMC health experience – up to 20 marks
- COVID-19 duty (VMCH) – up to 30 marks
- Written test and/or interview may be conducted if required
