Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institution as per UGC norms.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
- Date of Birth Range: 02 January 1983 to 01 January 2004
Age Relaxation:
- SC / ST / SEBC / Women / Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- PwD (40% disability or more): 10 years

Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia, and must have passed Odia as per conditions mentioned in the official notification.

Selection Process
The Odisha Civil Services Examination consists of three stages:
- Preliminary Examination
- Two Objective Papers (GS-I & GS-II)
- GS-II is qualifying (33%)
- Main Written Examination

- Language papers are qualifying in nature
- Interview / Personality Test
- 250 Marks
