Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have completed their qualification as a full-time regular course from a recognized institution. Qualifications obtained through distance or correspondence mode are not eligible.
Post-wise Qualification:
- Technician Apprentice:
Diploma (3 years) in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Civil / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Minimum Marks: 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) - Trade Apprentice:
- ITI (2 years) in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized)
- Matriculation required
- Graduate Apprentice:
Graduation in any discipline
Minimum Marks: 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) - Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher):
12th Pass with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) - Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders):
12th Pass + Skill Certificate of “Domestic Data Entry Operator”
Experience
- No prior work experience is required
Age Limit (As on Cut-off Date)
- Minimum Age: 18 years

IOCL Apprentice Stipend
The selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 / Apprentices Rules and IOCL norms, based on the apprenticeship category (Trade / Technician / Graduate).
