OSSSC CRE Recruitment 2026: The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2026 for a total of 3,250 posts, including Revenue Inspector (RI), Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), ICDS Supervisor, and other positions. Interested candidates with Postgraduate, Graduate, Diploma, or 12th-class qualifications can apply online.
The online application process starts on 7th January 2026 and ends on 31st January 2026. Candidates must apply through the official OSSSC website: www.osssc.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Revenue Inspector (RI): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; computer knowledge required.
- ICDS Supervisor: Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce; women only.
- Village Agricultural Worker (VAW): +2 in Science or vocational agriculture course; Diploma in Agriculture (OUAT) desirable.
- Junior Assistant (JA): Graduation in any discipline with computer skills.
- Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI): +2 or Diploma in Engineering; computer knowledge required.
- Amin: +2 or Diploma in Engineering; computer knowledge required.
- Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS): +2 or equivalent.
Odia Language Proficiency: Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak Odia as per prescribed criteria.
Other Conditions: Must be an Indian citizen, of good character, and comply with personal law regarding marital status.
Age Limit
- General: 21–42 years (varies by post)
- SC/ST/SEBC: +5 years
- Women: +5 years for posts except ICDS Supervisor
- PwDs: +10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 5 years or duration of service
Salary Details
- RI & ICDS Supervisor: ₹ 35,400 – 1,12,400 (Level-9)
- VAW: ₹ 21,700 – 69,100 (Level-5)
- JA & ARI: ₹ 19,900 – 63,200 (Level-4)
- Amin & SFS: ₹ 18,000 – 56,900 (Level-3)

Selection Process
- Written Test (100 marks) – MCQs covering Mathematics, General Studies, English, Odia, Computer, and Logical Reasoning; 1.5 hours.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks: 35% (30% for reserved categories).
- Practical Skill Test (50 marks) – Basic Computer Skills; qualifying with 40%.
- Document Verification & Counselling – Based on merit-cum-choice and availability.
