MOIL Eligibility Criteria
Graduate Trainees
- Mines: B.E/B.Tech in Mining; submit DGMS application, valid Gas Testing & First Aid certificate, 1 year company experience for 2nd class Mine Manager certificate.
- Mechanical: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Electrical: B.E/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Power.
- Chemical: B.E/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
Management Trainees
- Geology: M.Sc/PG in Geology/Applied Geology.
- Materials/Contract Mgmt.: B.E/B.Tech or MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Production/Operations/Materials/Logistics/Supply Chain.
- Systems: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science / MCA.
- Personnel/Welfare: P.G. in Social Work / MBA (HR/Personnel).
- Marketing: MBA in Marketing / PGDM in Marketing/Foreign Trade.
Manager (Survey)
- Graduate with Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency, minimum 2 years’ experience in underground mining surveying (1 year for internal candidates).
Minimum Marks: 60% in all qualifications.
Age Limit
- Graduate/Management Trainees: 30 years
- Manager (Survey): 35 years
- Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL) – 3 years
- SC/ST – 5 years
- PwBD – 10–15 years
- Ex-Servicemen – Service period + 3 years
