Educational Qualification

  • State Service Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
  • Maharashtra Police Service: Bachelor’s Degree; preference for Law, Science, or relevant administrative qualifications.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Post-graduate degrees, relevant diplomas, or experience in administration.

Selection Process

  1. Preliminary Examination (CBT/Written): Objective questions on General Studies, General Aptitude, and post-specific subjects.
    • Minimum Qualifying Marks: General – 40%, OBC – 35%, SC/ST/PwBD – 33%
    • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
  2. Mains Examination: Descriptive essay-type paper on specialized subjects.
  3. Interview/Personality Test: Evaluation of communication skills, general awareness, and suitability.
  4. Physical Standards Test (Maharashtra Police Service): Height, chest, and efficiency tests.
  5. Medical Examination & Document Verification: Conducted for shortlisted candidates.

Final Merit List: Based on Mains + Interview marks.
