Eligibility Criteria
For CWC Chairperson & Members
Educational Qualification
- Degree preferably in Child Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Social Work, Sociology, Health Sciences, Education, Human Development, Medicine, or Special Education from a recognized university.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience working with children in health, education, or welfare activities
OR - Practicing professional in the above fields.
Other Requirements
- Must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh
- Should have a clean service record and child-friendly attitude.
For JJB Social Worker Members
Educational Qualification
- Degree in Child Psychology, Psychiatry, Sociology, Health Sciences, Education, or Law.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience working with children
- Desirable: At least 3 years of experience working with government child welfare programs.
General Eligibility Conditions
Candidates must NOT:
- Have violated child rights or human rights
- Have criminal convictions involving moral turpitude
- Be employed in any government office
- Be associated with child abuse or child labour
- Hold political office during tenure
- Be insolvent
- Be associated with Child Care Institutions (during tenure)
Practicing advocates must submit NOC from Bar Association / Legal Authority.
