About BARC OCES & DGFS 2026 Programmes
- OCES-2026:
One-year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates, leading to appointment as Scientific Officer (Group-A) in DAE units. - DGFS-2026:
Two-year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates pursuing M.Tech at selected institutes, followed by appointment as Scientific Officer.

During Training
- ₹74,000 per month stipend
- OCES trainees get ₹30,000 one-time book allowance
- DGFS fellows receive:

- ₹60,000 contingency grant per year
- Project funding up to ₹4,00,000
After Appointment
- Scientific Officer (Group-A)
- Pay Level 10 (7th CPC)
- Basic Pay: ₹56,100
- Total Monthly Salary: ~₹1,35,000 (including allowances in Mumbai)
