Eligibility Criteria
For Senior Residents in Broad Specialities:
- Qualifications: MBBS and PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from recognized university
- Essential Qualifications: Medical registration with DMC with MD/MS/DNB qualification
- Experience: Non-PG candidates with minimum of two years post-MBBS experience can apply in Department of Casualty. However, preference will be given to candidates holding postgraduate degree
For Senior Residents in Super Specialities:
- Qualifications: MBBS and PG Degree or Diploma in concerned super specialty from recognized university
- Essential Qualifications: If candidates possessing PG degree in concerned super specialty are not available, those possessing PG degree in Medicine will be considered for medical super specialties departments such as gastroenterology, nephrology and cardiology etc
- Desirable: Similarly, candidates possessing PG degree in Surgery will be considered for Surgical super specialties departments such as Pediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, CTVS Onco-Surgery, etc
Salary/Stipend
- Emoluments as per rules applicable
- Security deposit of Rs. 30,000/- to be submitted as DD/Bankers Cheque in favor of “ESI Saving Fund Account No. 2” payable at New Delhi
- Security money of Rs. 30,000/- will be forfeited if Senior Resident (3 year) resigns/terminates contract within 09 months of commencement
- Security money of Rs. 30,000/- will be forfeited if Senior Resident against GDMO (1 year) resigns/terminates contract within 03 months of commencement

General Information/Instructions
- Periodical interviews on 1st Monday and Tuesday of every alternate month for next 6 calendar months shall be conducted
- Vacancy position shall be uploaded on website seven days before date of interview
- In case of holiday falling on scheduled interview date, interview shall be conducted on next working day by default
- Candidates who have completed 3 years Senior Residency from any Government Institute need not appear for interview
- No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in interview
- Candidate in service for tenure of more than or equal to 1 year should submit No Objection Certificate from employer at time of interview
- Selected candidate will have to furnish DD/Bankers Cheque for Rs. 30,000/- towards security deposit
- 04% posts out of total vacant position will be reserved for persons with disability (PWD, OL, OA, ND)
- Candidates wishing to appear for both Senior Resident (3 Years) and Senior Resident against GDMO (1 year) posts shall be required to apply separately for each post
- Internal departmental candidate of ESIC Hospital Basaidarapur, New Delhi need not require NOC to appear in interview. However, recommendation of HOD is required in Black and White
- OBC candidates are required to submit latest OBC Certificate as per Central Government Proforma (not more than one year old) from date of interview
- EWS candidates are required to submit latest EWS Certificate as per Central Government Proforma, not more than one year old from date of interview
- Income and Asset certificate from issuing Authority as per DOPT letter no. 36039/1/2019-Estt. (Res) dated 31st January, 2019 must be submitted for reservation for EWS Category
